Job Summary
As a Child Protective Investigations (CPI) Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating claims of child abuse and neglect, working around the clock to ensure child safety. The role includes conducting interviews, gathering information, and assessing risks to determine if intervention is necessary. Investigators are required to respond quickly in crisis situations and to observe children for signs of harm. This position is part of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), focused on protecting children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.
