The position requires operation of floor maintenance equipment such as strippers, buffers, vacuums, and extractors. Additional duties involve requesting and restocking supplies, conducting inspections for cleanliness and repairs, assisting with minor repairs, training other custodians, and maintaining custodial equipment. The role operates under general supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Employees may be required to work specific or rotating shifts, extended hours, or on-call as needed.
